Hello Wonderful Ones!

December 3rd, 2008  Tagged , , ,

To parents and teachers,

I am experimenting with building a blog!  I hope to discover and develop ways to use it for teaching and learning.  If you have any comments, questions, or just want to cheer me on, please comment!  I am on a journey, teaching myself by exploring other blogs, reading posts, searching, twittering, and many other exciting things.  More information about my classroom can be found on my web page.

Mackenzie loves your class! We are so lucky to have you as her teacher. She went to the blog page today and did the heating and cooling game. She also grew a plant and took the quiz. She got them all correct (thanks to your great teaching). She loves going to the blog page and your web page. She talked alot about your blog page today and was very excited. Thank you so much for inspiring her!!

Your blog is wonderful! It’s so easy to follow and understand. I know a lot of hard work has gone into it. I’m excited to see teachers blogging. I’ll check back often.

Thanks for visiting Dana. I was hoping you would. We are having so much fun! The kids love looking through the Shelfari for our books that are on our reading castle.

    Hi again,
I have just read through your whole blog. I think your experiment is turning out great. I have a teacher blog with resources attached if you would like to come and copy some links. I also have a number of Mainstream blogs that I communicate with ( kindergarten – 2nd grade)) in my teacher blogroll that are really friendly and very open to communication with others. I have a Special Education class. The children love making connections with children from other countries and we would love you to visit us too. We are actually using some of the same resources this year.Although, because we are in Australia our school year begins in 1 week.I hope that our sites will be useful to you I will come back and visit.
    Sue
