Calling all student bloggers!

Mrs. Wojtera’s Wonderful Ones are invited to participate in the first summer blogging project!  It’s easy as one, two, three!

1. Do something fun this summer! Fishing, swimming, going on vacation, a picnic at the park, most anything will do!
2. Write about it! Check your work. You can include some digital pictures, if you like. (See the information sent home for rules about digital photography!)
3. Type your story and have a parent help you sent it to me by e-mail. Attach the digital photo if you have one.

I will take care of the post! You visit the blog and comment often. It will be fun to keep up with your friends and see what they are doing this summer. Don’t forget that the public library has computers to use for free!

Remember to follow our safety rules for photography!

Icy Tuesday to my Wonderful Ones!

I hope you got to sleep in this morning!  Enjoy your day off, but don’t forget to read some books!  Wasn’t that silent e video fun yesterday?  “Silent e is a ninja, doesn’t make a peep”… according to this Electric Company video.  Watch and learn!

Hello Wonderful Ones!

Look what I found!  Our class accepts the challenge and is ready to accomplish the mission!  We will be sure to keep track in the classroom with a list on the wall, posting on the blog, and by adding to our Shelfari list.  We will enjoy classifying our books as much as we will continue to enjoy a diverse collection of literature.

I hope to get some projects posted on the blog soon.  The first graders are working hard to read more fluently, write with stamina, and be more independent spellers.  That is a huge undertaking.  We want to publish a few digital stories along with completing our regular school work!  Send your ideas and comment on ours!  We can’t wait to hear from you.
